Reddit feedback: users outside the US cannot use shopping list or affiliate cost estimates because all prices are USD-only.

Scope:

  • Shopping list item cost estimates (currently USD-only)
  • Affiliate link generation (Amazon locale routing: .co.uk, .ca, .com.au, .de, etc.)
  • User preference for currency/locale in settings
  • Display formatting (symbol, decimal separator)

May be as simple as a locale setting in user preferences that controls affiliate domain + currency symbol, given we do not do actual price lookups.
